Off To Bombay

Would have left today evening, but then a few things are different, this time around.

  • Papa wants me to stay there for a while. Given that he doesn't really like the way I do things - him suggesting that he wants me around for a while simply means that he is in pain or he is depressed.
  • Month-end as well, decided to stay back today evening and finish off with work. Will set up the month-end reports and then leave tomorrow evening.
  • Raksha-bandhan is coming up, I think on the 4th or 5th of August.

Will be going for a week this time. Some issues at work but hopefully these guys will take care of it. Yousef - Thanks for understanding, mate. Appreciate it.

I might have to deal with a lot of crap once I am back, but that shouldn't be a problem. Shit happens all the time. Once in a while if it happens at work as well - I think I should be able to deal with it. Besides, some of my colleagues are more than helpful, so I guess that should make it easier.

At times the ones who help us the most are the ones who we really don't expect to help us.

The ones we expect to help with our lives will usually never do what they are expected to do.... so help coming from unexpected quarters is always a boon. I realized it after so many years....

I learnt the hard way. Expectations and disappointment are directly proportionate to each other.

Don't expect anything from anyone. You won't be as disappointed - when things don't work out.

But if someone does help you out - when you are not expecting it - the feeling is a lot better.

Have a nice trip. Its good to have co-workers who cover you when you're on leave.
