Arbitrage

Richard Gere - Excellent!

Tim Roth (Detective Bryer) - The character, wasn't well defined (in my opinion) and it shows in the performance.

Some of the conversation scenes should have been edited out (I would have enjoyed watching this a lot more). Takes away the pace from the plot. One of the things I would definitely edit out would be the last sequence between Robert and Ellen Miller. Ellen's reaction was way over the top and I didn't find it believable at all.

To be honest, I would have loved it if Susan Sarandon was completely edited out of the film. Can't stand her. Not sure if it's the characters she plays or just her.

  2. Hmmm.. Catchy trailer but personally not a fan of the “POWER IS THE BEST ALIBI” line.
Nevertheless, it’s played by Richard Gere. CANNOT miss it.
Thanks for putting this up 
Susan Sarandon is like Amisha Patel in B’town. A sad face and even though they have’nt been crying, you know they will burst out to ‘boohoos’ ANY time now.
Makes you wonder… why am I still here ?
