Narcos

Interesting series. Season 1 was way more entertaining. Season 2 – Watchable.

Two characters that I hated the most:

• Steve Murphy (played by Boyd Holbrook). Not sure if it was the character or the actor, that made me grind my teeth.
• Eduardo Sandoval (played by Manolo Cardona). Hated the character. Wanted to strangle him or at least slap him around.

In fact, in the entire series, there wasn’t a single cop character that I could like. Hated all of them – be it the American DEA agents or the CIA or the Ambassadors or the Colombian cops. I just couldn’t empathise with either their cause or their character(s).

The characters that I loved:

• Gustavo Gaviria (played by Juan Pablo Raba). Brilliant performance.
• Valeria Velez (played by Stephanie Sigman). Sigh… speechless.
