LightSpace

Almost everyone would have heard about Microsoft’s Surface, by now. Pretty old news, eh? It’s been over two years and I don’t know a single individual (personally) who has had a proper hands on.

I did see it on the tele and on YouTube. I even posted about it a couple of times, but not sure if I will get to have a go at it anytime soon. Sigh.

Anyways, here is something else from Microsoft that will take it’s time to make it to the average user’s fingertips.

LightSpace combines elements of surface computing and augmented reality research to create a highly interactive space where any surface, and even the space between surfaces, is fully interactive. Our concept transforms the ideas of surface computing into the new realm of spatial computing.
