Wafaa Bilal

In case you don’t recall this moron professor, you can click on the links below to get a recap:

Wafaa is back in the news. The titanium base / plate that was implanted in his no brain head seems to be creating problems. Err.. of course, it was a stupid idea to begin with and the procedure was done in a tattoo shop! What did you expect?

Moving on, Wafaa is experiencing constant pain despite antibiotics and steroids because one of the posts holding the plate is being rejected by his body. Now an interesting part from the news article:

Once the wound heals, Mr. Bilal hopes to figure out a different setup and remount a lighter camera. For now, though, he’s carrying on the project by tying the camera to the back of his neck.

Could have done this from the start, right?

When the idiot had come up with this stupid idea in the first place, people all over the internet had asked the same question - WHY IS THERE A NEED FOR ANY SURGICAL IMPLANT(S) AT ALL!? Why not just hook up the camera from a cap or a safety helmet or hold it in place with a rubber band or …. well, you get the point.

He insists on calling this a performance and uses words like endurance and commitment. Would have actually done him some good if – in addition to using WORDS, he would have bothered to use his brains as well.

Implant or no implant - I still refuse to accept that this nonsense can be classified as art. The camera is hooked at the back of his head and is snapping away pictures at regular intervals. He is NOT even taking the pictures himself!
