The House - Danielle Steel

n182824

Typical Danielle Steel book. A good read on a lazy day.

Had a bit of a problem with the elaborate explanations about Sarah’s feelings being repeated every few pages. Also hated the parts about Sarah’s trip to Europe where she tries to find more details about her Great Grandmother.

I am all for plans working out and trips not going to waste, but I would have preferred if she found the information from libraries or newspaper articles or some old records - as opposed to having a chance run into the new owner of the chateau who has an old grandmother or great grandmother with an excellent memory, who worked in the chateau ages ago.

A bit too much of a stretch for me.

Barring that, like I said – the book is a good read for a lazy day.
