How the hell do such idiots manage to get appointed to a state High Court in the first place?! I was under the impression that one of the prerequisites to being eligible for such a position would be that the person be of sound mind. Evidently, having the ability to use one's brain is optional.

Being radically pro-family is one thing. A judge insisting that the woman continue to tolerate physical abuse from her husband is just pathetic. This can't be termed 'radically pro-family'. Perhaps Justice Bhaktavatsala should experience some first hand pain and suffering - so he can understand the situation more clearly.
