Ads On The Moon

I am all for thinking out of the box approach, but the moon! This gives a whole new meaning to the phrase – Out Of This World.

Race cars covered up with cigarette logos wasn’t enough? Championships and Tournaments being referred to as Coca Cola cup or Hero Honda Championship wasn’t lame enough?!

Hell I have a problem with blog owners vandalising their own blogs/websites with banners all over the place. Look, it’s different if you put up one area where the banner keeps alternating, but a banner on every white space you can find? Come on!

I get it. Someone has to pay the bills. But ads on the MOON!?!?!!!!

Me: Jaan, kal raat ko chaand dekha – tumhaari bahut yaad aayi
Her: Aisi kya baat thi?
Me: Well, they put up the Nike Ad - Just Do It.
Her: Hee hee, then why didn’t you come over?
Me: I was on my way but…. as I was driving, the ad changed. Now it was Sprite - dikhawon pe mat jaao, apni akal ladao, Bujhaaye only pyaas, baaki sab bakwaas  - So I went over to Jenny’s place instead. She doesn’t need constant reassurance that I only love her. A fix for the pyaas and definitely no bakwaas.

Jokes apart, imagine if they got a typo for one of the ads. Now, THAT would be interesting. :D
