Lightning – Danielle Steel
Just got done re-reading another old book from my collection. When I had read this book years ago, I had a problem with some of the readers criticising the ending. While re-reading it this time around, I was sure I would criticise the ending myself.
Somewhere in the back of my head, I kept wondering what had changed for me to feel that way. But as I approached the end of the book, it was back. I was fine with the ending. Should have been relief, knowing that I hadn’t changed that much over the years. But oddly enough – this was unsettling as well. I sure am messed up.
