Picture 1

I have read the comic. Now I have seen the movie and I am NOT disappointed.

My kind of movie and I loved it. Loved the visuals. Action, violence, blood, gore, sex - All of it.

Nixon was a pathetic clown in real life (I am trying to be polite), a spoof in the comic and the consistency is maintained in the movie. Although I would have appreciated a bit more work on the character’s appearance.

A few issues - The background music in some scenes seemed terribly mismatched. The world seems pretty sure that a nuclear war is imminent but no one seems much too disturbed by it. Would have been nice to show some panic / hysteria.

But that’s rather easy to overlook. Really enjoyed this one.

OMG! You liked it? :o

We wanted to walk out of the theater when we heard "Alleluia" playing in the bangground(you get it?) :P

Akerman was hot and I never knew she was the "Harold and Kumar" hot babe :P

Apart from that, I kept thinking that Joker was Robert jnr :D and I was so wrong..

I didn't like it..... noooooooooooooooooooooo

I did put that up in my post. - terribly mismatched - .

Other than that - I really enjoyed the movie. Rorschach - AWESOME. Dr. Manhattan's narrative - Very very cool.

BTW, are you serious - you confused Jeff Dean Morgan for Robert Jr?!? That's bad.

He looked like Robert Jnr *ashamed*

Dr Manhattan should have worn some clothing man.. here we could see his private parts clearly :dx:

Ahh, about Dr. Manhattan .. Heard a lot of people complaining about that.

Well this is how it works - he was naked in the comic, hence he is naked in the movie (the movie is R rated).

Furthermore - The idea (in my view) is to show how Dr. Manhattan is increasingly getting disconnected from human beings. He is no longer effected by the same things as most of the humans are (I say most, intentionally).

It's a wonderful state of mind - if you think of it. I would be more than happy to get rid of some of the things I end up feeling. Well, that's just me. :)
